Rathkadana is GandadhaGudi’s dedicated initiative to promote blood donation awareness, organize donation drives, and ensure that life-saving blood reaches patients during emergencies, surgeries, and medical treatments.
Inspired by the values of humanity embodied by Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar (Appu), our mission is to bridge the gap between blood donors and those whose lives depend on timely support.

Every unit of blood donated can save up to three lives — and through Rathkadana, we strive to make this noble act accessible, meaningful, and widespread across Karnataka.

Myths vs. Facts We Clarify

What We Do Under Rathkadana

Organizing Blood Donation Camps

We collaborate with hospitals, blood banks, colleges, corporates, and communities to conduct regular, well-organized blood donation camps. Each camp follows safe practices, medical supervision, and donor care guidelines to ensure a smooth, comfortable experience.

Emergency Blood Support & Coordination

During critical moments, our Emergency Blood Support & Coordination team acts fast to connect patients with verified blood banks, registered donors, and hospital blood centers. We ensure quick, reliable assistance so families receive the life-saving support they need without delay.

Supporting Repeat & Voluntary Donors

Regular donors form the backbone of safe blood availability. We maintain donor networks and encourage repeat contributions through recognition programs and awareness follow-ups.

How Blood Donation Works

Registration

Donors fill in a basic health form and undergo a quick check-up.

01

Donation

A small amount of blood (usually 350-450 ml) is safely collected by trained medical staff.

02

Rest & Refresh

Donors are offered refreshments and monitored for a short while to ensure they feel completely fine.

03

Processing & Storage

The donated blood is screened, separated into components, and stored for future use.

04

Saving Lives

Your donation may help accident victims, surgery patients, newborns, cancer patients, or mothers during childbirth.
